Ina Garten’s Grilled Herb Shrimp: Whoa, Baby! Flavorful!

Did you know that roasting tomatoes intensifies their flavor. I love'em!

While my husband Mike was away I served “salad” for dinner, something  he’d never find acceptable. But I didn’t serve just any salad! I served Ina Garten’s Caesar Salad! My daughter Tory got out the blender and whipped up Ina Garten’s classic Caesar dressing (love those anchovies!), which she’s made and we’ve slurped down many times before. I got out the salad spinner and prepped 3 heads of romaine lettuce. Then I roasted cherry tomatoes a la Ina, grated some fresh parmesan cheese and fried up some chicken cutlets to slice/top the Caesar salad.

Notice the few shrimp tucked in under the massive quantity of fresh Caesar dressing my son Max loves on his salad?! This is the first of two bowls he ate!

But the best part? The part I hadn’t done before? I made Ina’s grilled herb shrimp. I halved the ingredients the recipe called for since I had only 12 ounces of shrimp (and the smaller ones at that) in the freezer, and it came out perfect! My son Max and I couldn’t keep from popping the tasty morsels into our mouths. I really thought we wouldn’t have any left to top our salads! If you love shrimp, you will adore this recipe!

It didn't take but a few minutes to chop/mix the marinade for the shrimp.

I added a tad more olive oil to the mix after I took this photo.

The raw shrimp tucked under their herb-y marinade.

Max was the grillmaster!
